Events and conventions photography

I offer my services as for events and conventions photography since a few years already. Having worked in events for several years and on very diverse and varied positions (Welcoming & reception, logistics and Stage manager). I gained experience in the field and a certain sensitivity to the customers expectations.

An event is ephemeral by definition, Welcome desks, booths and installations are never the same from an edition to another. Photographing a trade show or an event is really important in order to keep visuals for catalogs and also for the communication media of future editions. I have positioned myself on this category, since I’m mastering the both fields of photography and also the events itself . What I do is making ambient photographs and also all the installations such as booths of exhibitors and also how the event displays. Also I shoot conferences and conventions to retransmit the most faithfully the atmosphere of the event.

Finding your photographer for an event or a fair trade

It is important to have quality photos of an event in order to supply your image database, as well as communication medium. In the era of social networks and instant sharing, I offer to deliver the pictures in a short time. So you can illustrate your publications in adapted formats and in very short time.

The needs of the customer are priorly defined, during a briefing. A meeting to clearly define the specifications and target the expected result. A trade show requires months of preparation. Between the choice of the theme, the choice of the providers and of the various speakers and animations. It would be a shame not to capture the result of these months of preparations. That’s why I offer to my clients and future customers an interview to frame the scale of my intervention, to know what will be the destination of these images (press kit, catalogs, digital galleries, social networks …)

Most trade shows, events, conferences or conferences are held in a multicultural context and in an international dimension, having a provider (photographer) who will be comfortable working in a demanding environment is important.

Working for different kind of events

As I said I worked for several customers, knowing the location of the event is a very important thing. On the one hand, we save time in tracking, but also in the management of the light. I have worked light difficult light conditions, knowing those places allows me to anticipate and avoid some difficulties related to the lack of light. To know also the enclosure of an exhibition park is an asset, because I lose less time in my movement on the show.

I worked for the Paris Motor Show (Tesla), SIAE Paris Air Show, COP21, Maison & Objets, SIAL, Roland Garros, Galleries Lafayette, Accor Hotel Arena … and other customers in Versailles Exhibition Center, Villepinte Exhibition Center, Le Bourget, Palais des Congrès, Palais Brongniart.
