Portrait Photography
Portrait photography
Portrait has been with me from the start. It’s the genre that taught me to look before shooting, to read a person, to create the conditions for them to reveal themselves rather than perform. These images come from sessions with models, actors, dancers, and strangers met along the way. They have no commercial purpose. They’re here because they mattered.
Models and actors
Sessions built around movement, light, and each subject’s personality. Some were looking for images for their book or casting calls, others simply wanted to explore. In both cases the starting point is the same: observe, put at ease, then let things happen.
Family and personal portraits
Pregnancy, maternity, family. Moments that deserve to be photographed without excessive staging with light, patience, and enough distance for people to forget the camera is there.
An approach
I work mostly outdoors, in places that bring context and character to the image a street, a staircase, a particular light at a particular time of day. I also have a mobile studio for sessions that require a more controlled environment. In both cases, what matters is the connection with the person in front of the lens. The rest is technical.
