Maternity photography in Berlin March 2018
A lovely couple that contacted me through my website to make their maternity photography in Berlin. I’ve been receiving requests from pregnant couples to make photography of them during their pregnancy. Since I’ve made the midwfiery Project in Germany between 2016 and 2017 (hebammenprojekt). This is how it did happen with Helen & Florian.

We set the photo-shoot on a Sunday afternoon at their place where we shared some warm tea and talked about their beautiful story of how they met. We starter the photo session in their shinny living room using different elements of their house furniture as accessories all I can tell you with words instead of pictures is that we liked it. We had a lot of fun. It’s always special to make photography of people. You don’t know them, they expect from you to show a truthful image of them so you have to listen to them to know how to lead them through the photography session to make the portraits the most correct reflexion of them. To know what you can ask them to pose or not. Usually I don’t guide people a lot as I am (I was) a shy person. I mostly give them a general idea of what I want to compose and I let them be, then I see what is coming from it. Then I guide if it’s needed. I guess the time we spent talking before starting to work was precious for us.

Pregnancy photography in Mauer Park – Berlin
The last time I’ve made a pregnancy photography session in Berlin it was around Warchauer-Strasse this time we decided to make it near Prenzlauer-Berg in the Mauer park. It was fun and good, specially with all the people around. We want it to look natural and I think we succeeded in it.
The place has a special meaning for the couple and for me it was good cause I know the area I’ve spent many Sundays there chilling at the flea market.
