Wedding in Aix en Provence
I worked in this beautifull wedding in Aix en Provence and as usual it was really pleasant for me to witness with my photography the union of this two beatifull women. Specially in this pleasant area of France. I’ve worked before in the south of France for couples getting married but this one was special for me, first because they were two women (as you maybe noticed) Second, because their story is really beautifull. We first met in Paris after I came back from my long trip in Germany. We talked about the wedding and the organization and how I’m going to work at the wedding as “the” photographer. Few weeks later I met her wife right after she came from the United States to start her new life in Paris. We talked about some details and on which kind of photographs I’m providing after the ceremony.
As a said it many time before, to work as a wedding photographer you need to be comfortable with people quickly and able to make some little jokes to feel comfortable and specially to make family and guest comfortable. I remember that with Marine we got really friendly and at one moment she asked me if I can take a picture of a certain moment. I told her wait Marine I’m your photographer not your friend so sure you can ask me anything about taking photography, after your wedding we can be friends but sorry now I’m working ! It was really funny, my jokes are really sarcastic most of the time and I do apreciate when people are laughing.
It’s the third time I’m working as a wedding photographer for an LGBT Wedding and I can tell you that it’s just awesome ! To photograph it, to be a part of it.
