A compilation of my various posts and pictures of Munich that I took during my stays in the Bavarian capital. I spent a long week in Munich, I had time to visit this mythical city of Bavaria and to make friends there.
One of the neighborhoods that I really enjoyed is the old Olympic village of Munich (As you can see it on my pictures). Built to host the 1972 Summer Olympics, Munich Olympic Park was built in just six years on a vacant 300-hectare site north of Munich and converted into dwellings. This side of the city has subjugated me by the beauty of its architectural style, I was also surprised to see on the side of the English Garden of Surfers on the river Isar surfing on the Eisbach welle. Surprised by the surroundings as well as the noise of this powerful wave surfing right in the center of Munich.
