Stairs and layers Berlin Central Station

An early morning in the Berlin central train station. I always wanted to make some pictures in Berlin Hauptbahnhof and that day was the perfect day for that. Right after Christmas, when the city is like a ghost town, I was wandering in the Berlin Central Station from 7 in the morning until 11:00 to make some pictures of this amazing architecture where you can see from the hall all the layers linked by the automatic stairs.

The Berlin Central Station was built in and opened the 15 May 1882 with the “Lehrter Stadtbahnhof” name. Right after the wall of Berlin, refreshing it to the new central station was planned. The transformation began, on many stages from 1995 until the opening ceremony on the 28 may 2008 under the name of “Berlin Hauptbahnhof“.
