Erfurt Street photography
I had a day in Erfurt , the capital of the German region of Thuringia. I’ve took some street photography there but I also had some of the famous Thüringer brat.
Being in this city which stayed untouched by the second world war was as time travelling in the Germany. It’s an interesting city with its history and architecture. It is compared to Roma, and some are calling Erfurt the Thuringian Roma because of high density of churches and early-modern patrician houses. The cathedral and the Saint-Severe church are unique. If you have the chance one day to go there so “Rendezvous in der Mitte Deutschlands“

Erfurt is a city in the central German state of Thuringia. Martin Luther, father of the Protestant Reformation, was ordained in the Cathedral of St. Mary, whose origins date to the 8th century. Next to the cathedral is the Gothic Church of St. Severus. The Augustinerkloster is a monastery where Martin Luther lived as a monk. The Krämerbrücke Bridge has medieval houses and shops, and stretches over the Gera River.
